Former Reds star claims this Bundesliga sensation would be great for PL trio including Liverpool

Emile Heskey claims Jadon Sancho would be a great signing for Liverpool

Former Liverpool striker Emile Heskey has claimed that Jadon Sancho would be a great signing for any of the top clubs in England.

The former Manchester City winger left England and joined Borussia Dortmund a couple of years ago.

Sancho has become a regular down the right for the Bundesliga giants and has 18 goals from 66 games for them.

However, Liverpool legend Dietmar Hamann recently claimed that the Reds are keen on landing Sancho from Dortmund.

Heskey highlighted that Sancho would be great for the Reds and was quoted by Starsport as saying (h/t Metro):

“Jadon Sancho would be a good fit for any of the top two or three clubs, to be honest with you.

“What he brings to the team, I think he would be fantastic for anyone in the Premier League, or in the world, he’s that good.

“His goals, assists, penetrating runs, frightening defences. He’d be good for anyone.”

Sancho has been impressive this season too and already has three goals and five assists from eight Bundesliga games.

Liverpool need a talented winger

Liverpool have three of the best attackers in the Premier League, with Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah scoring regularly.

The trio helped us win the Champions League last season but we can do with a talent like Sancho in the team.

The Reds don’t have a lot of cover for the wingers as Xherdan Shaqiri has spent a lot of time out injured this season. Rhian Brewster is still raw and needs more time on the pitch, while Divock Origi has done a decent job this season.

Sancho would provide more competition for places at Anfield, and it will be interesting to see if we move for him.
