Liverpool interested in RB Salzburg striker Karim Adeyemi
Liverpool are interested in 17-year-old RB Salzburg striker Karim Adeyemi, according to Kleinezeitung (h/t Liverpool Echo).
The young striker has played for Germany at youth level but could even feature for Nigeria.
Adeyemi currently plays for Salzburg’s feeder team FC Liefering and has seven goals and five assists in all competitions.

The report claims that the youngster joined Salzburg from SpVgg Unterhaching, but hasn’t featured in the side for the Austrian giants.
Loads of interest in Adeyemi
Barcelona and Arsenal are also interested in the 17-year-old forward, and the Catalans also saw a €15m bid rejected by Salzburg recently (h/t Liverpool Echo).
It will be interesting to see if we make a move for Adeyemi in the future given our transfer business during the summer.
Liverpool signed a couple of young players with a lot of potential and also brought in two veteran keepers. Sepp van den Berg and Harvey Elliott have featured in our Carabao Cup games, but still need time to develop.

We have talented youngsters, with Curtis Jones, Ki-Jana Hoever and Caoimhin Kelleher all playing in the Carabao Cup too.
Adeyemi has time to develop his game and a move to the right club will ensure that takes place.
