Wit European champions Liverpool in need of bolstering the forces, a player of Casemiro’s quality would have added experience and steel to the midfield.
Had a move been on the cards, he would’ve joined international teammates Alisson Becker, Roberto Firmino and Fabinho to strengthen an already solid Samba spine at Anfield.
