Liverpool-linked star shows no interest in moving away from Real Madrid

Real Madrid’s Casemiro has responded to Liverpool interest

Eldesmarque (h/t Daily Star) has claimed that Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro has no interest in leaving the club for Liverpool.

He is said to be thankful to manager Zinedine Zidane and club president Florentino Perez, both of whom are keen on seeing him stay at the Los Blancos for the foreseeable future. (h/t Daily Star

A regular in the Madrid midfield, Casemiro has played 216 times for the Spanish giants since joining in 2013.

Casemiro has been an important cog in a dominant Madrid midfield that has won four Champions League crowns over the last six seasons.

Wit European champions Liverpool in need of bolstering the forces, a player of Casemiro’s quality would have added experience and steel to the midfield.

Had a move been on the cards, he would’ve joined international teammates Alisson Becker, Roberto Firmino and Fabinho to strengthen an already solid Samba spine at Anfield.

Casemiro is seen as a replacement for Guinean midfielder Naby Keita, who hasn’t hit the heights expected of him since his transfer from RB Leipzig. (h/t Daily Star)

Casemiro is a world-class player, who can strengthen any midfield. Although he would’ve strengthened us immeasurably, we admire his decision to stay loyal to Madrid and not jump ship so easily.
