David Moyes lavishes praise on Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool

Former Manchester United and Everton boss David Moyes believes that Liverpool are the side that every team wants to beat. The Scot then went on to compare the Reds to the dominant Red Devil sides of the past. (h/t Sky Sports)

Moyes states that teams now raise their level while playing Liverpool as they view the Merseysiders as a prized scalp. It is reminiscent of how clubs approached Manchester United under Sir Alex Ferguson.

Liverpool have been utterly dominant in the English Premier League this season. Jurgen Klopp’s side has incredibly dropped just two points from their first 25 games this season.

The Reds are 22 points ahead of defending champions Manchester City and could break a plethora of records as they surge towards the title.

Moyes also praised the Reds for reaching the levels set by Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City. The Catalan created a monster of a City team that romped its way to win the title with 100 points, before showing their bottle to hold Liverpool off last season.

They have, however, fallen behind this season, with Liverpool making each slip by City count.

Liverpool are currently unbeaten in 42 Premier League games. seven short of the record set by Arsenal. The Reds are also on course for an unbeaten season while still being alive in both the FA Cup and UEFA Champions League.
