James Milner wins Twitter by picking his isolation XI
With football games currently suspended, players have been busy occupying themselves with other tasks. Liverpool midfielder James Milner is no different.
Having already rationed out his tea bags and levelled out his yard, Milner has enjoyed a thrilling time while stuck at home. Given that he also recently got his pencils ready, we are led to believe that he has been watching John Wick to keep himself occupied.
A footballer who has been active for nearly 20 years, it is not possible for Milner to stay away from the game for too long. The 34-year-old made a sensational return to the game as he posted a video of himself selecting an isolation XI on Twitter.

Milner’s team comes in all shapes and sizes. Strictly following the rules of social isolation, the midfielder gathered together a range of household appliances and named them after popular stars.
A well-balanced team
It was a star-studded lineup with the likes of John Terry (Chocolate Orange), David Silva (coin), and Arsenal legend Thierry Henry (Henry hoover) all making the cut.
Four Liverpool players made the cut with Gini Wijnaldum (Genie in a Lamp) and Patrick Berger (Burger) the only starters. Titi Camara (Camera) and Brad Friedel (Bread Loaf) could only make the bench.
Milner had a few surprise picks such as Kyle Walker (leash), Dominic Matteo, Trevor Cherry (Cherries). Jeff Horsfield in the guise of a unicorn will partner Henry upfront in a never before seen partnership.
Other picks include David Batty, Gabriel Heinze (Heinz ketchup), Frank Lampard ( A lamp-pard), Ruel Fox (A soft fox), Joe Hart (Heart) and David Healy (A stiletto).
The midfielder saved the best for last as he unveiled Brighton and Hove Albion star Lewis Dunk as his final choice. He drafted in the player with the hilarious action of ‘dunking’ a biscuit into a cup of tea.
A legend to ‘head’ the team out!
Italian legend Fabio Capello (A cap) has been nominated to be the manager. With the former Juventus and Real Madrid man’s track record, it will not be surprising if he leads the side to European glory.
