Wan-Bissaka considers Sadio Mane jersey as his treasured possession
Aaron Wan-Bissaka is considered to be the best right-back in the Premier League by Manchester United fans. However, as it turns out he is a Sadio Mane fanboy.
According to the Express, Wan-Bissaka has revealed that one of his treasured possessions is Sadio Mane’s jersey. He obtained the jersey last season during his time as a Crystal Palace player.
He gave the answer in response to being asked which player’s jersey he would like to possess (h/t Express).
“Mane – I got his from last season”
The youngster has faced Liverpool five times in his career and is yet to win against us. Mane has played a critical role in those matches, scoring three times (h/t Transfermarkt).
If this comment wouldn’t have irked United fans enough, Wan-Bissaka’s insistence on the season being resumed will not go down well with a section of their fanbase (h/t Express).
Liverpool fans are desperate for the season to resume once the pandemic blows over. The Reds are just six points away securing our 19th League title.
Wan-Bissaka made a big-money move to Old Trafford last summer. He has proved to be an inspired signing for United, which has led to comparisons with Trent Alexander-Arnold (h/t Daily Star).
Fans are of course likely to be biased, but in spite of him having a good season, we will have Trent any day of the year.
Not many 21-year-olds will have played in consecutive Champions League finals let alone play a key part in winning it.
It would be interesting to know if Wan-Bissaka is jealous of Trent for being able to play alongside the Senegalese star.
