James Milner takes to Twitter to leave fans in splits once again
No one has been able to ‘rock’ the lockdown like James Milner.
The Liverpool midfielder has found novel ways to keep himself busy during the lockdown. He initially got off to a great start by rationing out his teabags.
Once that was done, he went on to even out the grass on his lawn with a pair of scissors before showing off his football management skills by selecting a team full of household items.
His latest project is to clean the pebbles in his garden. Frankly, it is more exciting than it sounds.
On to the first on my new list of chores… I’m not 100% sure but I think maybe Mrs M wants me out of the house for a while 🤷🏻♂️#stonemethiswilltakeawhile#easytomissone #maybeifigravelshewillletmeoff#staysafe pic.twitter.com/pJpvKFHLvj

The 34-year-old posted a video on Twitter showing him sitting in his evenly-trimmed garden by a bed of pebbles. He showcased his immaculate attention to detail by cleaning the pebbles, one at a time.
Armed with a bowl of water, a towel, and a little pink toothbrush, Milner is a man on a mission. He meticulously ensures that each pebble is wet, brushed off all impurities and then dried them with the towel before going back into the bed.
The raw determination on his face is only broken for a second where he turns to the camera to smirk at it. They say if you enjoy what you do, you never have to work a day in your life. It certainly looks to be the case for our veteran midfielder.

At a time when tensions are high, Milner’s antics have brought much comic relief to a number of supporters. The power of comedy is not to be underestimated. If anything, the only time Milner lacks any sort of humour is when he steps up to take a penalty. A stone-cold killer from the spot, he is a hoot off the pitch.
