Jurgen Klopp admits Liverpool are desperate to get back to normality

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed that he and his team are desperate to get back to normality as the coronavirus lockdown continues (h/t Sky Sports).

The Premier League football has been suspended for over a month due to coronavirus. With the country in lockdown, team training activities have also been cancelled, as players keep themselves fit at their homes.

Given the situation across the globe, there is little idea as to when the season might resume. And our manager Klopp has revealed that he is missing being with his squad and can’t wait for things to get back to normal (h/t Sky Sports

“It’s getting longer for all of us personally. We are getting desperate at one point to get back to normality. But as far as I’m concerned for us here it’s good, but we are all just in a crazy place and we have to be patient.”

The team were on the verge of winning their first-ever league title in 30 years. When the season was suspended, Liverpool had a 25-point lead over second-placed Manchester City. The Reds needed just two wins in the remaining nine matches.

Our team has performed incredibly well this season, losing just one league game so far. But Klopp believes that we are still not the finished article and have plenty of room to improve. (h/t Sky Sports)
