Liverpool target Patson Daka sent fans into a frenzy when he retweeted a post about his transfer links to Chelsea. The post mentioned that Chelsea are to sign Daka despite the interest from Liverpool and West Ham. The Zambian has since deleted the post.
Daka began his journey with Nchanga Rangers in his homeland before joining Kafue Celtic. He then spent half a season on loan with Liefering before joining RB Salzburg in the summer of 2017.
The youngster has been flying for RB Salzburg this season. He had to fill in the shoes of Erling Haaland, which he has done with great success. His tally of 34 goals and 12 assists across all competitions is surely one that would catch the eye of the big boys.
Daka has been linked to Liverpool over the last few weeks. However, Daka might just have hinted at a move to Chelsea instead of Liverpool. In a tweet, it was mentioned that Chelsea are likely to get the deal for Daka ahead of Liverpool and West Ham. The Salzburg striker retweeted the post, only to delete it later.
