Transfer News: Four Liverpool players could be sold in the summer window including Shaqiri, Williams, and Origi
According to Liverpool Echo, Liverpool would not stand in the way of Xherdan Shaqiri, Harry Wilson, and Divock Origi leaving the club in the summer transfer window.
Their stance remains the same as it was last season regarding the trio. However, the club would only allow them to leave around their market value. (h/t Liverpool Echo)
If they don’t want a transfer away from Anfield, the Reds would keep in their squad for next season. That was the case with Shaqiri and Origi last season, according to the report.
This comes after the news that the Reds are willing to sanction a permanent Anfield exit for Neco Williams, the youngster who has played backup to Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Time for goodbye?
As per a report by Liverpool Echo, and covered by TheKopTimes, the Reds would want the Welsh full-back to aim for a move away after the Euros- with them valuing Neco at around £10million.
Worryingly for Liverpool fans, the report goes on to add that Liverpool are unlikely to sign forwards even if one player in the aforementioned trio decides to leave, despite links with Donyell Malem, Raphinha, and Patson Daka.
Shaqiri, now 29, is impressing at Euros, which can play a part in increasing interest from potential suitors. However, he offers a viable option for the club if Mohamed Salah is absent.
As for Origi, fans would be sentimental regarding an exit considering his role in our 6th UEFA Champions League title. But it would not come as a shock considering his lack of game time and goals since then.

Wilson also seems expendable but Williams, like Shaqiri, could be an important squad player and Jurgen Klopp should think about all scenarios next season before letting these players go.
