Liverpool to make a huge salary offer to Inter Milan star Marcelo Brozovic
According to Mirror, Liverpool are preparing a deal for Marcelo Brozovic that includes a huge salary offer in an attempt to attract the Inter Milan player to Anfield.
The Croatian was one of the key players in Antonio Conte’s Seria A title-winning team. He laid down the solid defensive performance the Italians are known for, helping them to a long-awaited league title.
It is believed that Liverpool has been keen on landing the 28-year-old. The Reds are now planning to offer €7-8million (£6-6.8m) per year to the player to convince the player.
The Reds rely heavily on Fabinho’s defensive abilities in the midfield. They have quality attackers and creative playmakers, but that hasn’t helped their team’s defensive areas. Despite having some of the top defenders in the league, they have looked rather open at the back.
They couldn’t hold to the lead against Brighton last month and failed to defend set-pieces against West Ham last Sunday. In both games, they faced setbacks that pushed them to the fourth position on the table.
In both cases, the midfielders couldn’t provide the required shedding for their defensive unit.

The German manager often prefers a high line for the defender. In such a case, they leave huge spaces behind. Without the help from the midfield, opponent attackers have taken advantage of the Reds.
With the help of the veteran Croatian midfielder, Jurgen Klopp would be able to form a better defensive solidity. But the Merseyside team would have to face PSG and Real Madrid in the transfer battle as they look to have a similar interest in the player.
