Report: Liverpool discover the dates of three rearranged PL fixtures

Liverpool see some of their Premier League fixtures rescheduled to avoid fixture congestion

According to James Pearce via Twitter Three Premier League games featuring Liverpool have been rescheduled to a later date.

Klopp’s men see three clashes, against Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa and Southampton rescheduled to a different date to mitigate the insane schedule that the Reds have in the upcoming weeks.

The game against Spurs will be paid at 7:45pm on Saturday, May 7, while the Reds will travel to Aston Villa on May 10 while the Southampton clash is scheduled for the 15th of May.

However, the clash against Southampton might still get rescheduled if Klopp’s men manage to get into the finals of the FA Cup. Not something that the Reds will mind if it were to happen.

Chasing a quadruple?

Liverpool have been in scintillating form this season. They have already secured the Carabao Cup by beating Chelsea in the final and are still very much in contention for the other three competitions.

Jurgen Klopp’s men are chasing an unprecedented quadruple this season but are experiencing the perils of being so good. They find themselves with an insane schedule to navigate if they are to win all the trophies.

The German manager has a huge squad full of pedigree to pick from but he will have to be on top of his game to be able to rotate his players and keep them fit and firing for the end of season. History beckons should he play his cards right.
