Jurgen Klopp full of praise for Liverpool wonderkid Harvey Elliott

Speaking in an interview as quoted by Liverpool Echo, Jurgen Klopp is full of praise for Liverpool youngster Harvey Elliott and has touted him for the very top of the game in the future.

Elliott is one of the most talented youngsters going around in the Premier League. He has been very impressive whenever Klopp plays him and slowly yet surely, he has established himself as a starter for the Merseyside club.

Since his breakthrough campaign last year, Elliott has only grown from strength to strength. Even a serious injury last season did not deter his progress with the talented English wonderkid impressing with every opportunity.

Elliott has played 21 times for the Reds this season, scoring three goals across all competitions. He has gained a lot more prominence in recent weeks and will want to continue being important.

With the midseason break coming up after tonight, Harvey Elliott will want to continue impressing Jurgen Klopp with his training during this time and establish himself as a main player for the German coach.

Speaking about the youngster, Klopp was full of praise for Elliott and claimed that he has a great attitude.

“In the group, he’s like all the other boys. It’s really nice to see. We have a lot of young players and he’s not standing in front of them and giving speeches. He’s an incredible player & talent, and the direction is the right one.”

Liverpool have not really had the best of starts to the current season. They are struggling in the Premier League and it may already be time for them to move past the hopes of winning the competition this season.

The Reds have also drawn Real Madrid in the Champions League round of 16 which is by no means an easy draw. Liverpool will want to revenge for the final last year which they lost to the same opponents.
