Jude Bellingham full of praise for Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson

Speaking in an interview with Sky Sports as quoted by Liverpool Echo, English midfielder Jude Bellingham was full of praise for Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson for his hard work and determination.

The Dortmund midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool. He is one of the most highly-rated English talents and it remains to be seen if he manages to secure a move to Anfield.

He is on international duty with England in Qatar for the World Cup and one player he is very excited by is Liverpool club captain Jordan Henderson, who Bellingham admires a lot for his work ethic.

Henderson is a veteran of the game and of late, he comes under a lot of criticism for his performances on the field. However, he continues to have Southgate’s backing for the showpiece event.

Whilst Henderson may not be a starter in the World Cup, his experience will be key for England. The Liverpool captain can guide the youngsters in a competition with so much pressure.

Speaking about the Liverpool captain, here is what Bellingham had to say about the talented player.

“At England, I’d probably say Hendo [is the most professional]. He’s always doing extra sessions and always working hard on the pitch – even in the gym he’s always putting it in.”

It speaks volumes about the kind of player Hendo is when despite being one of the veterans of the squad, the midfielder continues to put in the hard yards and keep himself in shape for the World Cup.
