Napoli are looking to tie down Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to a new contract amid Liverpool interest
According to Gazzetta Dello Sport via Napoli Magazine (h/t Liverpool Echo), Napoli are looking to offer a new deal to Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. Liverpool are interested in the player.
The Georgian winger has taken the entire continent by storm with his exceptional form at Napoli. Despite only joining the club this summer, he has been crucial for his side.
Kvaratskhelia has played in 17 games so far in all competitions, scoring eight goals and registering another 10 assists in the process.
Liverpool fans know how troublesome the winger can be after having experienced it first-hand in the Champions League group-stage game. The Italian side won 4-1 and the 21-year-old was the star of the show.
It would make sense for the Reds to go after this winger. Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz are currently injured, with both the wingers being our top players this season.
Darwin Nunez has been used on the left side of the attack in the past couple of games. Another winger is needed in the team and the 21-year-old would make the best fit.
Kvaratskhelia can also be deployed anywhere in the attack, apart from his natural position as a left-winger. A young player with huge potential, he could make an exciting signing for the Reds and their fans.
