South American club turn down £70m PSG bid for Liverpool transfer target

Palmeiras turn down PSG’s opening bid for Liverpool target Endrick

According to Globo (h/t Liverpool Echo), Brazilian club Palmeiras have turned down French giants PSG’s opening bid for talented wonderkid Endrick with Liverpool also interested in the player.

Endrick is a name that has been gathering a lot of interest in recent times. The 16-year-old striker sensation is widely regarded as one of the biggest prospects in World football and many clubs want to snap him up.

Although he is just 16, Endrick already looks like a much-established player and his potential is sky-high. At such a young age, the Brazilian has a wonderful eye for goals and has scored quite a few in his short career.

PSG and Liverpool are not the only two clubs interested in the teenage wonderkid with many other European giants wanting to sign him. However, Palmeiras are not going to do any club any favours.

PSG apparently approached the Brazilian club and submitted an offer worth £70 million for the youngster but were told that their valuation was not sufficient and that they need to improve their offer.

At this point, Liverpool run the risk of getting outpriced in this race for Endrick. This kind of money is never heard of before for a 16-year-old and it shows how much potential Endrick has that clubs are even considering this.

Palmeiras know they have a gem on their hands. They also know pretty well that there is a competition to sign the youngster and the Brazilian club want to milk as much as they can from the situation.

Endrick has a huge future in the game. He is very young and has the world at his feet right now. However, he needs to know how to keep his head on his shoulders and continue his development.

Liverpool will want to sign Endrick. However, it is a very difficult deal to pull off and there might be other clubs who end up signing the Brazilian wonderkid.
