James Balazgi returns to Liverpool after Crawley Town loan ends prematurely
The Reds’ 19-year-old attacking midfielder James Balagizi returned to Liverpool after a cut-short loan deal from Crawley Town. Due to his latest injury, the player has to stay on the sidelines for a prolonged period of time, the Merseysiders take the decision of recalling him from his temporary switch.
The player made 16 appearances for the League Two side scoring on three occasions plus one assist to add as well. One of his goals came in the Carabao Cup against Fulham, which is great for a player as he scored against a Premier League side playing for a team in a much lower division.
The player has recently returned to Liverpool after experiencing an injury. In order to ensure a proper recovery, the player will be undergoing rehabilitation under the guidance of the club’s medical staff. This team of experts will supervise his recovery process and make sure that the appropriate protocols stand followed which could not have been the case at Crawley as the Reds are much more advanced when it comes to medical equipment and the rehab process.
Balagizi for the Reds.
The ultimate goal is for the player to return to action as soon as possible, but the medical staff’s priority is to ensure that he is fully healed before allowing him to play again.
Balagizi was part of the bench for the first team in two games last season. One in the FA Cup and the other in the Carabao Cup and the Reds won both by a sizeable margin. The proper development of Balagizi is extremely crucial as the player is extremely versatile and can literally play any role in the midfield and can also put in a shift on the wings.
While most of his games have been in attacking midfield and central midfield positions, there is certainly no denying that the player is capable of playing other roles as well, and could be a great asset for the Reds in the future.
