Liverpool could look to sell midfielder Fabinho with Real Madrid showing interest in the Brazilian

According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, Liverpool midfielder Fabinho could be on his way out of the team with Real Madrid a potential destination for the Brazilian.

It is claimed that Fabinho could be part of a domino effect with the Reds looking to add Jude Bellingham to their ranks and it would directly impact the future of Fabinho, whose current contract runs till 2026.

Signed from Monaco in 2018, Fabinho has gone on to establish himself as one of the key figures of the dominant team under Jurgen Klopp over the past few seasons.

However, just as has happened with other key players, Fabinho’s form has dropped to quite an extent which was again on show with his performance against Real Madrid.

As the quarterback of the midfield, he is unable to show the same level of control as shown previously and therefore the Reds could look at selling the Brazilian to raise some funds for the transfer of Bellingham.

Currently valued at €55 million, Liverpool could look for a higher fee for the player who still has three years left in his contract and at 29, is at the prime age of his career.

Madrid, on the other hand, have shown their interest in the player on previous occasions as well but the current form of the player would play a big part in any advancement of interest.

Yesterday’s draw against Crystal Palace showed how far the standards have fallen and while everyone was expecting a positive reaction after the debacle against Madrid, the performance just not did feel like that.

More Liverpool News:

The players are lacking motivation, many are entering the final stages of their contracts and a situation like the current one was bound to happen.

The only hope this season is a top-four finish but with six points behind the top four, it is a steady task to end the season on a high note.
