Borussia Dortmund to fix Jude Bellingham price at £97 million plus add-ons amidst Liverpool interest

Jude Bellingham, who plays for Borussia Dortmund, will have a fixed price of £97 million, with the rest being add-ons, amidst interest from Liverpool, according to Spanish outlet Marca (h/t Liverpool Echo).

The 19-year-old is one of the most sought-after players ahead of the upcoming transfer window. A number of top teams, including the Reds, are looking to acquire the midfielder’s services and have made him their top target.

Apart from the Merseyside outfit, Premier League rivals Manchester City are also eyeing the youngster’s signature. The England international is also on the radar of European giants Real Madrid.

Bellingham made his way to BVB in the summer of 2020 from Birmingham City. Since then, the 19-year-old has been a pivotal player for the German outfit.

The England international has gone from strength to strength and has developed into one of the best prospects in the world with the Bundesliga giants.

In the current campaign, the midfielder has taken his game to the next level. The youngster has also been handed the captain’s armband on a number of occasions by Edin Terzic. He has made 34 appearances

for the Signal Iduna Park side this term, scoring 10 goals and providing six assists.

Bellingham has also established himself in the Three Lions’ starting lineup. The 19-year-old impressed in the 2022 World Cup. He also started in Gareth Southgate’s team as they beat Italy 2-1 in the Euro 2024 Qualifiers on Thursday (23 March).

Liverpool have struggled in the 2022/23 season. Our engine room has been underwhelming, with the likes of Fabinho and Jordan Henderson, while Thiago Alcantara has once again had fitness issues.
