Liverpool ‘not’ interested in Eintracht Frankfurt star Evan Ndicka

Liverpool FC’s search for defensive reinforcements may have taken a hit as reports emerged that the Reds do not show interest in signing Evan Ndicka. The Eintracht Frankfurt defender saw himself touted as a possible target for Liverpool, but GOAL reporter Neil Jones has revealed that the club has issued a ‘firm no’ in regards to the Frenchman. Ndicka, who is out of contract in the summer (Transfermarkt), sees himself linked with several top clubs across Europe, including Liverpool. However, Jones’ report suggests that the Reds have no interest in pursuing the defender.

“Unfortunately, the conversations I’ve had about this player have been, I wouldn’t say a hard no, but a firm no,

He obviously looks like he’s going to move somewhere in the summer.”

“There’s a lot of clubs also linked in that story.”

“But I have to say that the people I’ve spoken to around Liverpool, around the club, have poured cold water on it and I believe them, to be fair.”

No Ndicka for the Reds
