In the U-20 South American Championships that took place in January, Roque scored six goals and assisted one in eight appearances. The Brazil U-20 side went on to win that competition.

With regards to his attributes, the young Brazilian possesses great pace to worry most defenders. He is an excellent dribbler of the ball, has a good shot in him and is physically strong for such a young player.

While Roque has the attributes and the potential to be a fantastic striker in the future, it is highly doubtful that Liverpool will pay the quoted price to sign him this summer.

The Reds have spent a lot of money to sign Cody Gakpo and Darwin Nunez in the last two windows. They got Luis Diaz a year ago as well. So, the front line may not need much ammunition before the start of next season.
