Official: Key fixture in Liverpool’s pursuit of top-four finish rescheduled

Premier League clash between Liverpool and Leicester has been rescheduled

Liverpool FC originally scheduled their match against Leicester City for May 13th, but they have now rescheduled the game. The match will now take place on Monday, May 15th, with a kick-off time of 8 pm BST via the club’s official website.

The Reds are currently fighting to secure a place in the top four of the Premier League table, with Leicester City hot on their heels. The rescheduling of this game means that Liverpool will have two additional days to rest and train, which could give them an advantage over their opponents.

The King Power Stadium has proven to be a tough place for Liverpool to visit in recent years as we lost 3-1 in February 2021. However, Liverpool have a strong record against Leicester City away from home overall, winning 27 and drawing 11 of the 50 games the Reds have played there.

Liverpool FC’s Premier League trip to Leicester City next month has been rescheduled.

The match on May 15th could certainly prove to be pivotal in Liverpool’s season, as they look to secure a place in the Champions League for next year. With just a few games left to play, every point counts, and Liverpool will be looking to take all three points from this fixture.

Leicester against the Reds

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will no doubt stand pleased with the extra preparation time, as he looks to get his team firing on all cylinders. The Reds have struggled with injuries this season, with key players such as Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez sidelined for much of the campaign.

However, with the likes of Luis Diaz and Thiago Alcantara returning to fitness, Liverpool will be hoping to finish the season strongly. While this season has been challenging, there is still everything to play for, and the Reds will be hoping to end the campaign on a high.
