Liverpool told they will ‘miss’ Real Madrid-linked superstar bound for summer exit

John Aldridge says Liverpool will dearly miss Roberto Firmino amid Real Madrid links

Former Liverpool star John Aldridge says everyone at the club will miss Roberto Firmino after his impending exit from the club later this season. Aldo wrote in his exclusive for ECHO about Bobby after his winner against Arsenal in the league, drawing the game for us.

According to El Nacional via ECHO

, Real Madrid view the outgoing Liverpool star as someone who could fill in for Karim Benzema and give Los Blancos some time to look for long-term replacements. Firmino, who has been with the club for eight years, announced that he would leave the club at the end of the season when his contract expires.

For Liverpool, losing Firmino will be a significant blow. The 31-year-old has been an integral part of the club’s recent success, having played a key role in their Champions League and Premier League victories. His unique skill set, which includes his ability to link up with fellow forwards is something that won’t come by so easily.

Firmino’s time at Liverpool will be remembered fondly by fans, who have come to appreciate his unique playing style and selfless approach to the game. His contribution to the club’s success cannot stand overstated, and the club will surely miss him.

Could Bobby move to Los Blancos?

Here is what Aldo had to say about Firmino and how everyone at the club would miss him via ECHO:

“We’ll miss him when he leaves. When he came on, he made a difference. He’s been great for the club.”

“Everyone wishes him all the best. Hopefully he can keep putting in good cameos and keep getting us some needed points until the end of the season. He’s been fantastic for the club, he really has been a great player.”

The club will be looking to the future, and the upcoming transfer window will be an important opportunity for them to strengthen their squad and build on their recent success. But with the likes of Cody Gakpo, Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz, Diogo Jota and of course, Mohamed Salah, the club doesn’t necessarily need to reinvest in the attack.

In case he decides to join the Spanish giants, he would join an elite list of players including the likes of Michael Owen, Steve McManaman and Xabi Alonso among others to have represented the most successful club in England, as well as the most successful club in Spain.

Jurgen Klopp and his team will undoubtedly be working hard to find a replacement for Firmino, but they will also be looking to strengthen their squad in other areas like the midfield, which certainly needs a lot of focus at the moment.

More Liverpool News:

In any case, Bobby recently spoke about how he stands completely committed to the cause with Liverpool until the end of the season and expect nothing less from a top professional like Firmino. Hopefully, he ends his time with the Reds on a high note and departs with his contagious smile.
