Fabrizio Romano Liverpool present proposal to sign Alexis Mac Allister
Fabrizio Romano claims Liverpool have submitted a financial proposal to sign Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton & Hove Albion.
The Italian transfer expert tweeted:
“Liverpool have presented their project and also financial proposal to Alexis Mac Allister. The club will insist in the next weeks; discussions advancing but agreement not done yet. #LFC Feeling remains Alexis will 100% leave Brighton and it will be early, May or June.”
This comes after news that Jude Bellingham is closing in on a summer transfer move to Real Madrid. Mac Allister has made his name at Brighton, for whom he dons the No. 10 shirt with pride and excellence.
He showed his worth in Qatar, where he played a pivotal role in Argentina’s 2022 FIFA World Cup win. Mac Allister played in the final against France and was one of La Albiceleste‘s finest players during the game.
Get him to Merseyside
The 24-year-old has amassed enough club and international football experience at the top level to be considered a big-name signing for Liverpool. Romano’s update mentions that there is no agreement in place yet.
Although, he does add that the Argentina international is likely to leave the Seagulls at the end of the season. It makes sense, considering his astronomical rise.
Brighton can perhaps no longer match his ambitions. He will see the Liverpool squad and notice the gaping hole he can fill in the middle of the park. Playing time shouldn’t be a problem here.

Liverpool shouldn’t have any excuses if they fail in Mac Allister’s pursuit. It is high time we spent well to sign a proven midfielder. Jordan Henderson desperately needs competition while the injury-prone Thiago Alcantara can no longer be relied upon.
Let’s hope Brighton are an easy team to negotiate with.
