Liverpool star Dominik Szoboszlai extended his support for his old club RB Leipzig before their DFB SuperCup match vs Bayern Munich. The Hungarian midfielder was passionately cheering on his former club as they locked horns with Bayern.
The match itself was a spectacle, drawing attention not only for the intense competition on the pitch but also for the significant transfer of Harry Kane from Tottenham to Bayern. Leipzig managed to steal the spotlight by securing a convincing 3-0 victory over their formidable opponents. Dani Olmo, in particular, emerged as the hero of the night, netting all three goals to secure the trophy for his team.
Moreover, Leipzig also put out a tweet, thanking Szobo for his support while he was on call with Benjamin Henrichs. What made the scene even more intriguing was the presence of Liverpool’s own Fabio Carvalho on the Leipzig side. The young talent, who is currently on loan from Liverpool, had the opportunity to make his mark on the game. Carvalho stepped onto the field for 12 minutes, contributing to Leipzig.
