Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp feels enthusiastic and rejuvenated with fresh challenges at the club

Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp told the reporters (h/t Liverpool Echo) on Friday that he is enjoying the new-look Reds. The German feels the challenge of a completely new set-up has given him a new energy and drive.

The 56-year-old is currently in his ninth season as a Liverpool manager since joining the club on 8th October 2015. Klopp has reshaped the squad during the summer transfer window with a lot of aged Liverpool players departing the club.

The Reds boss spoke with reporters (h/t Liverpool Echo), sharing his enthusiasm for the new challenge and his new team. He said:

“This team gives me completely new energy. It’s great, this team has a completely new set-up. I loved everything about the seven years before but looking at these faces every day to see how much they enjoy the new challenge gives me energy as well”.

The German achieved a lot of success with many of his former players, winning The Premier League, UEFA Champions League, FA Cup, Carabao Cup, FIFA Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup, and FA Community Shield.

The Reds reshaped the midfield with the signings of Dominik Szoboszlai, Alexis Mac Allister, Wataru Endō, and Ryan Gravenberch.

Liverpool have won seven out of the eight games they have played so far in all competitions, remaining unbeaten.

The Merseyside giant will be facing an in-form Tottenham Hotspur side in the Premier League away game on Saturday. The Reds are currently 2nd on the Premier League table with a two-point advantage over Spurs, who are in the 4th place.

We think that Klopp’s new team has taken everyone by surprise with their quality and style of play. The 56-year-old has called his team “Liverpool 2.0” on many occasions, claiming this season to be the year one.

Kopites are very excited to see where the current Liverpool side can go judging by the great start they’ve had. Many of the players are yet to reach the peak years of their career yet they are putting consistent performances. We hope that Klopp can continue to build his legacy at Anfield and get a contract extension very soon. The German’s current contract runs until June 30, 2026.
