Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is full of praise for Mohamed Salah

Let’s be honest. He was not having the best of days against Everton. However, the fact that he contributed with two goals is what makes him so special. Liverpool star Mohamed Salah always finds a way or two to contribute to the team’s cause and helped land a famous 2-0 win over our rivals in the Merseyside Derby.

Ever since joining forces with Jurgen Klopp back in 2017 from Roma amid calls of a Chelsea reject and whatnot, Mo has taken the Premier League by storm and has been consistently racking up the numbers across all competitions and is the Reds’ top goalscorer in Premier League history. And he’s ageing like fine wine and doesn’t seem like slowing down one bit.

This season alone, he leads the charts in the league for goal contributions. 11 G/A including four assists is a testament to his often under-the-radar playmaking abilities that is slowly taking fore in recent months. Jurgen Klopp has all the reason to sing lauds of Mo and that is what he did in the post-match press conference after winning against Sean Dyche’s men at Anfield.

“We need someone who can bring the ball over the line, and Mo was that again. I couldn’t respect that fact more. It’s absolutely outstanding, the numbers are crazy. He will never stop, that is his nature and that’s really cool for us.”
