The latest addition to the legacy of promising Youth Academy graduates from Liverpool is 17-year-old winger, Trent Kone-Doherty, who has officially signed his first professional contract with the club.

The club confirmed his new contract via the official website. In his first season with the U18s, the talented winger showcased his skills and pace, contributing significantly to the team’s success. Notably, he found the back of the net 11 times, including a remarkable three goals in the UEFA Youth League.

However, Kone-Doherty‘s promising season was cut short due to an unfortunate injury. Despite this setback, his potential and dedication to the game remained evident, keeping the Liverpool faithful excited about his future.

The 2023-24 season has seen Trent Kone-Doherty continue his impressive run of form. In August, he made his U21 debut, making an impact by scoring a crucial goal in the match against Derby County. This early success at the U21 level reflects his adaptability and the seamless transition he has made through the ranks of Liverpool’s youth squads.
