Liverpool could turn to loaned out left-back in aftermath of Kostas Tsimikas’ injury

Owen Beck in talks with Liverpool for a possible come-back

Liverpool’s loaned out left-back Owen Beck moved to the Scottish Premiership side by joining Dundee F. C. in July of this year. The Reds manager Jurgen Klopp had loaned out the young talent to gainfully receive exposure for the bigger competitions. The 21-year-old has proven his worth strongly enough for Klopp to recall him to play for the Reds in the second half of the current season.

Merseyside’s German coach is in habit of sending his promising youngsters to other clubs in order to improve in a competitive space. The Welsh player has used this space productively this season as his stats post joining Tony Docherty’s side have progressed appreciably.

Beck’s style of play is similar to that of his club’s left-back Andy Robertson. Obviously, he isn’t at that level yet but he has a very high ceiling and a lot of potential.

According to The Courier, talks for the defender to return back to the Anfield side have been taking place between Klopp ad the Dundee boss.

, Thiago Alcantara and the captain himself out injured, Klopp’s burden for putting together a formidable force for the upcoming matches has heightened.

With Kostas Tsimikas and Alexis Mac Allister recently benched out, the Reds need strong fullbacks to skillfully create chances to help the strikers secure their goals.

However, Docherty might not want to let go of the Welshman as his club sits at the seventh spot in the Scottish Premiership rankings. Beck has been a key player but Liverpool have no senior left-backs now. Hence, Beck’s return to Klopp’s side could be deemed imperative as of now.
