Redknapp reveals how Jurgen Klopp crafted ‘big moment’ in Liverpool’s second half performance vs Bournemouth

Jamie Redknapp praises Jurgen Klopp for his astute tactical chances that helped Liverpool achieve victory

Sky Sports pundit Jamie Redknapp praised the astute tactical changes from Jurgen Klopp which helped Liverpool win against Bournemouth. The Reds defeated the Cherries 4-0 at the Vitality Stadium in the Premier League clash on Sunday.

The victory against an in-form Bournemouth side keeps Liverpool at the top of the Premier League table. The Reds have continued their successful first half of the season so far despite numerous key squad players unavailable.

Klopp made several changes to the starting lineup and continued to successfully deploy tactical changes during the game. The 56-year-old has used his senior team squad to the fullest and also provided opportunities to many academy players.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has fully utilised his Liverpool squads.

The Liverpool boss revamped his squad after last season’s struggle as his original Liverpool team aged past their best. After successfully signing a couple of attackers in the previous season’s transfer windows, he revamped the midfield last summer.

Klopp has called his new squad “Liverpool 2.0” and their success and ability to challenge for all trophies surprised everyone. The German has made full use of the fluidity and versatility of his players, making the team very unpredictable.

Redknapp told Sky Sports that Klopp deserves the credit for taking the game away from tough opponents like Bournemouth. He said:

“I looked at this game at half-time and thought it could be a tight one. I thought it could go either way, but in the second half, Nunez came and played as the central striker to give Liverpool that physicality. It was a big moment and Jurgen Klopp deserves credit for that.”

Klopp has made 141 substitutions and 187 chances to his starting lineup from 32 games in all competitions this season. Liverpool’s rebuilding has earned rightful praise for Klopp from many football experts and fans around the world.
