Liverpool youngster Conor Bradley expressed his gratitude after fans voted him as the club’s Player of the Month for January
After fans voted Conor Bradley as the club’s player of the month for January, the Liverpool right-back conveyed his appreciation. Bradley played a pivotal role during the congested January fixture after vice-captain Trent Alexander-Arnold sustained a knee injury.
Liverpool are currently at the top of the Premier League table and have enjoyed success in each cup competition. Despite an injury crisis and increment of fixtures due to successful progress in every cup competition, they continued with consistency.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp put his faith in the youngsters despite the daunting ambition and the competition they face. Nevertheless, Bradley and other Academy players lived up to the faith and took their opportunities, solidifying their senior team spot.
Speaking to Liverpoolfc.com at the AXA Training Centre, Bradley thanked the Kopites for their tremendous support. He said:
“Thank you, it’s a privilege. Obviously it’s been a good month for me, it’s been a good couple of games and yeah, I’m just very happy to win it. As I say, it’s a privilege. It means a bit more [being voted for by the fans]. Obviously from the Chelsea game, hearing my name get sung out was probably the most special moment of my life, to be honest, because I have supported the club all my life. But yeah, it coming from the supporters as well, I can’t thank them enough for the support they have given me.”
The 20-year-old played an important 15-minute cameo against Arsenal in the 0-2 FA Cup victory on 7th January. On 10th January, he proceeded by putting a Man of the Match performance in the Carabao Cup Semi-Finals first leg.
The Reds beat Fulham 2-1 at Anfield to take a healthy advantage into the second leg of the Carabao Cup. Liverpool played Bournemouth next in the 0-4 Premier League away win with Bradley producing an assist in the game.

The Northern Irishman played 90 minutes in a 1-1 draw during the second leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final against Fulham. He ended January with another Man of the Match performance during the 4-1 victory over Chelsea at Anfield.
