Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp joins elite company after securing Premier League gong for January

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp achieved his 10th Premier League Manager of the Month with only three managers above him

Jurgen Klopp won the 10th Premier League Manager of the Month award for the impressive form Liverpool showed in January. Since its inception, only three managers have claimed the award more times than him.

The Reds are currently at the top of the Premier League table while progressing in each cup competition. They are targeting quadruple, showcasing their daunting ambition despite the obstacles they face against cash-rich rival clubs.

Klopp has built a cohesive, fluid and diverse squad with each player contributing with their unique set of skills. Despite an injury crisis and important players missing matches due to international obligations, Liverpool has consistently performed.

The Reds have successfully navigated through the tough January fixture period with three Premier League games alongside cup competition fixtures. Liverpool beat Fulham in the Carabao Cup semi-finals first leg and drew in the second leg to reach the finals.

Furthermore, they defeated Arsenal and Norwich City in the FA Cup while winning each Premier League game. The Reds started the year by beating Newcastle United 4-2 at Anfield followed by a 0-4 win over Bournemouth.

Klopp’s men finished the month with an emphatic 4-1 victory over Chelsea on 31st of January. Premier League’s official site reported that Klopp claimed his 10th Premier League Manager of the Month award for January. He is on par with David Moyes, trailing behind Sir Alex Ferguson, Arsene Wenger, and Pep Guardiola.
