Liverpool plan a parade at the end of the season to honour their coach, Jurgen Klopp

As reported by The Times (Paid subscription), Liverpool are already making plans to host a parade at the end of the season in honour of their coach, Jurgen Klopp. The team has only won the Carabao Cup yet, but the Anfield management believes that a parade will allow the fans to give their German coach the farewell that he truly deserves.

It’s the least that the club can do considering Klopp gave them almost ten years of his life. Moreover, before his arrival, the Reds a lot of people counted the Reds out and did not expect them to make a lot of noise for a while.

But Klopp came and conquered, he led the team to their only ever UCL win back in the 2018/19 season. Seven more trophies later Liverpool is now planning on bidding farewell to the person who has undoubtedly been their best manager in recent history.

His close shave against Chelsea will be used as an example for years to come. Fans will always talk about how Klopp took a depleted Liverpool team and beat the Blues in extra time to lift their 10th League Cup.

His legacy will also live on for years after he departs Anfield. This is due to the excellent talent that he has filled Liverpool with during the past nine years. Moreover, his standing with the fans is an excellent reason to turn the city into a festive land for a whole day.
