Liverpool are ready to challenge Manchester City and Chelsea for the signature of Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia during the summer
Liverpool want Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia during the summer transfer window but they face competition from Manchester City and Chelsea. Kvaratskhelia has been a pivotal part of Napoli’s team since signing for the Italian club in the summer of 2022.
The 23-year-old dominantly plays as a left-winger but he is capable of playing behind the central forward as a second-striker. Standing at 1.83 metres, he has the pace, power, physicality and stamina to make lengthy forward runs. He has the close control and dribbling skills that he enjoys to employ while running past opponents and winning duels.
Kvaratskhelia possesses technical skills, capable of cutting inside to score goals and create chances for his teammates. He likes to cut inside a lot, using link-up plays or running past the defenders to stay unpredictable.
He played a crucial role in helping Napoli achieve their first Serie A title in 33 years in the 2022-23 season. This season, Kvaratskhelia has made 35 appearances in all competitions, contributing with nine goals and six assists.
Fichajes reported that Liverpool are ready to challenge Man City and Chelsea to sign Kvaratskhelia during the summer. The 23-year-old would cost a lot of money, given his reputation and importance to the Italian side.
At the same time, Napoli are well-known for getting the best price out of their assets. Luis Diaz currently occupies the left flank for the Reds and his form has been inconsistent at times. Nevertheless, the Colombian’s issues arose from his injuries and the personal ordeal he faced in the middle of the current season.

Liverpool have a diverse and fluid attack department with players capable of shuffling positions while each attacker brings something different. Kvaratskhelia would be a formidable addition to the squad with his impressive dribbling, direct approach and counter-attacking threat
