Liverpool are ready to battle Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea for the signature of Leeds United star Crysencio Summerville this summer
Leeds United winger Crysencio Summerville is a transfer target for Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool for the summer transfer window. The 22-year-old is enjoying a fantastic season with Leeds who are currently third in EFL Championship, aiming to achieve promotion.
Standing at 1.74 metres, Summerville has a low centre of gravity, helping him maintain balance and control during the challenges. He has the blistering pace and dribbling skills to go past opponents and make long progressive runs with the ball.
Despite the short height, the Dutch U21 possesses good strength and aggression to shrug off opponents in duels. The 22-year-old is capable of playing in both wings but he has played mostly as a left-winger this season.
As a left-winger, he plays as an inside forward to be more of a goal-scoring threat for his team. He plays as an orthodox winger when deployed at the right wing, allowing the team to stretch the opponents.
Summerville has made 40 appearances in all competitions for Leeds, contributing with 18 goals and nine assists this season. The 22-year-old’s impressive productivity has earned a steep rise to his reputation this season, attracting many clubs for his services.
According to HITC (h/t Fichajes), Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham want to sign Summerville during the summer transfer window. The interest from the top Premier League club could increase the price tag of the 22-year-old with other clubs also interested.
Liverpool have a stacked attacking department but they could benefit from a direct player with pace and agility. Mohamed Salah has changed his style of play as he ages, relying more on linkup and his technical abilities.

Currently, the Reds have Darwin Nunez and Luis Diaz as the direct threats who can beat defenders with pace. Summerville fits the profile of the player that could add another counter-attacking and direct attacking threat. Nevertheless, Liverpool have to secure a new manager to succeed Jurgen Klopp before they decide on signing new players.
