Liverpool ready to battle European giants for generational German star

Liverpool are ready to battle Real Madrid, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain to sign Bayern Munich star midfielder Jamal Musiala

Bayern Munich midfielder Jamal Musiala is a summer transfer target for Liverpool, Real Madrid, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain. Musiala is enjoying a good season with Bayern despite their struggle with consistency from the beginning of the season.

The German giants are currently second in the Bundesliga table, 16 points behind the league-leaders Bayer Leverkusen. Despite Bayern’s willingness to negotiate a new contract with Musiala for a long time, the negotiations remain suspended.

Standing at 1.84 metres, Musiala has a lean and tall stature but possesses impressive close control and dribbling ability. His incredible control of the ball in tight spaces, beating numerous defenders with dribbling earned him a comparison with Lionel Messi.

The 21-year-old has fantastic technique and vision to spot his teammates’ movement even in high-pressure situations. Musiala’s all-round ability makes him unpredictable to the opponent and a constant threat in the attacking phases of the game.

The German international has played as an attacking midfielder, right behind the lead forward and as a left winger. Musiala lives up to his reputation as one of the best footballers in the world, showcasing exceptional consistency.

The 21-year-old has made 34 appearances in all competitions for Bayern, contributing with 12 goals and seven assists this season. Fichajes reported that Liverpool, Real, Man City and PSG want to sign Musiala during the summer transfer window.

The Reds have a fluid attacking department with players capable of interchanging positions and creating threats. Musiala fits the profile perfectly and can be a massive addition to the squad during their transition period.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp’s impending departure has opened up the potential for some players to move on from the club. Several top clubs are currently linking the Reds’ left-winger Luis Diaz, with his potential exit implied by his father. Musiala could be a perfect replacement for Diaz on the left side of the Reds’ attacking department.
