Liverpool ace gives his verdict on expectations as Klopp nears exit door

Trent Alexander-Arnold says he still expects Liverpool to be challenging whoever replaces Jurgen Klopp this summer

Trent Alexander-Arnold remains optimistic about Liverpool FC’s prospects of challenging for the Premier League title next season, regardless of who steps in to replace Jurgen Klopp at Anfield.

The Liverpool vice-captain expressed his confidence in the team’s collective mentality and eagerness to succeed, emphasising that the internal drive to win and compete for trophies remains unchanged.

TAA acknowledged Klopp‘s contributions and the impact he has had on the club since his arrival in October 2015. However, the focus now shifts to the future, and Trent

“But as players, the mentality and eagerness to win – not the pressure, but the internal pressure on ourselves and the demands to win things and be in a title race next season no matter who the manager is – that’s what we expect from ourselves.”
