Liverpool have identified an alternative for Bundesliga winning ace

As reported by GIVEMESPORT, Liverpool are expected to give up on their pursuit of Bundesliga winning ace, Piero Hincapie as an alternative has come to light. The Reds are also big admirers of another defender from the Bundesliga, Willian Pacho.

The main reason for the change in the Reds’ mind is the fact that Leverkusen won’t be too open to the idea of blowing up their almost invincible lineup. Thanks to contributions from players like Hincapie the team lost only one game last season.

There is also the issue of Hincapie’s ability to play regular football. According to the report, it is believed that the 22-year-old might not be able to play week in and week out and would struggle to keep up with the intensity of the Premier League.

Compared to Hincapie Willian Pacho seems like a very good option. He has made 44 appearances for Eintracht Frankfurt this past season even recording two assists. The 22-year-old is already one of the best defenders in Germany.

The Ecuadorian has his whole career ahead of him and one can only imagine how good he can be in the right situation. What Pacho needs more than ever is regular playing time and good competition. He could potentially compete for a starting spot at Anfield.

Between the departure of Joel Matip and the inconsistency of Ibrahima Konate, the Reds have a massive gap in their defensive line. Signing Pacho could go a long way towards filling that gap. However, a deal would likely be expensive, since he has four years remaining on his contract.

Pacho is one for the future.

Signing the Bundesliga defender will be tough but he would make an excellent addition to the Liverpool squad. Hopefully, the team can get a deal done this summer.
