Liverpool target drops cryptic hint about future
As reported by Liverpool Echo, Liverpool-linked defender, Leny Yoro was spotted at the Wembley this just a few days ago. The 18-year-old was in attendance to witness Real Madrid lift their 15th Champions League title by beating Borussia Dortmund.
Former Reds’ boss, Jurgen Klopp was also in the stands, but unlike Yoro he was supporting the German side. Yoro’s appearance alone has been taken as a hint about his future since Real Madrid have also shown a lot of interest in him.
The Frenchman’s future has been the topic of conversation for a while with clubs like Manchester United, the Reds, and Los Blancos competing for the 18-year-old’s signature. Yoro has all the tools to succeed at the top level.
This past season he made 44 appearances for LOSC Lille and even recorded three goals showing his threat in the final third. For his age, the Frenchman is an excellent defender and can easily hang with the best. Moreover, he’s far from being at the top of his game.
Yoro is only 18 years of age meaning he’s got at least a decade or so to figure things out and adapt to whichever league he will be playing in next. However, his appearance at Wembley has worried people that the Frenchman could be headed to play for Real Madrid.
Yoro won’t come cheap and Madrid is one of the few clubs that can afford to splash out on a deal for him. So, it would be safe to assume that the La Liga giants are currently leading the race to sign the Frenchman.
