Liverpool and Tottenham are set to butt heads for Crystal Palace forward

As reported by TBR Football, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur will be battling it out for Crystal Palace’s £60m-rated forward, Eberechi Eze. The 25-year-old played a key part for the Eagles last season making a total of 31 appearances across all competitions.

Eze constantly rotated between playing as an attacking midfielder and as a left winger. The 25-year-old proved to be a constant threat in front of goal recording 11 goals and six assists. Things would’ve been even better if Eze had a little more luck with injuries.

The 25-year-old ended up missing a total of 15 games due to a number of injuries last season. However, his versatility in attack cannot be overlooked. Most Premier League teams would be happy to have a player of Eze’s caliber.

Ange Postecoglou admires Eze and wants to add him to his forward line next season. Liverpool aren’t far behind Tottenham in their admiration for the English forward and will provide some stiff competition for the signature of 25-year-old Eze.

However, it’s going to be a while before we get to see a deal being made for the Crystal Palace forward. Eze is traveling to represent England in the EUROs 2024. He made the cut for Gareth Southgate’s final team ahead of players like James Maddison, Marcus Rashford, and Jack Grealish.

Eze’s talent has not gone unnoticed and even more suitors will line up depending on how he performs with England. However, no one will get to make a move for the next four weeks until Southgate and his men return.
