Jurgen Klopp might end up helping Liverpool save millions this summer
There will be a number of changes at Liverpool now that Jurgen Klopp has left the club behind. However, in his wake, some key decisions taken by him could end up saving the club millions this summer. Throughout the nine years Klopp spent at Anfield he made a case to never overspend in the market.
The Reds functioned on a financial restraint and only splurged out on players that warranted a ridiculous offer. Arne Slot will also have to brave this challenge if he is to continue the Reds’ winning ways following the departure of the German manager.
The team is in need of some fresh legs to add more depth and quality to the squad. However, Jurgen Klopp took some decisions last season that will help Liverpool save millions this summer. He gave an opportunity to Jarell Quansah, Connor Bradley, and Bobby Clark.
The emergence of these three youngsters will help the Reds save money on defensive reinforcements and even the middle line to some degree. If not for these three Liverpool might’ve had to spend millions next season to get some depth in the squad.
This is not to say that the team doesn’t need more depth. However, before Klopp introduced these three to the world the Reds were in desperate need of fresh legs. Now, not so much. These three exciting talents will surely make things easier for Arne Slot.
Now the team must make a few more signings this summer to further reinforce their team at all levels. Liverpool needs to add more depth to the back line, the middle line, and their forward line.
