Former Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic has had his say on Jurgen Klopp’s spell at Liverpool
Former Manchester United legend, Nemanja Vidic, has admitted in an interview that Liverpool have surpassed the Red devils under the management of Jurgen Klopp. During his tenure at Manchester United, Nemanja Vidic, alongside Rio Ferdinand, stood out as one of the Premier League’s top defenders. United enjoyed dominance with this central defensive duo, while their main rivals Liverpool struggled to keep pace.

Vidic, despite his association with Manchester United, acknowledged the thrilling style of football played by Klopp’s Liverpool team. He noted a drop in intensity in their performance last season.
Discussing Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola’s coaching prowess, Vidic told Sky Sports: “Their football is about moving without the ball playing the ball in the right area at the right time is what they’re about, Liverpool especially [stand out]. “Maybe not in the season just gone, but a couple of years ago, he was playing more direct, more running with a high intensity, it was exciting. He was trying to play a bit more with less running and they were doing well before the end of the season.”
