Liverpool star on track to become ‘One of the best in the world’, says international teammate

Northern Ireland defender Brodie Spencer claimed Liverpool star Conor Bradley could become “one of the best players in the world”

Brodie Spencer praised Liverpool right-back Conor Bradley, claiming that he could become “one of the best players in the world”. Bradley established himself in the international setup long before he dazzled the Anfield crowd last season with his fantastic performances.

The 20-year-old has established himself into the Reds senior squad after earning an opportunity from legendary manager Jurgen Klopp last season. Bradley has displayed his ability to influence during the both attacking and defensive phases of the game for his team.

The Northern Irishman has the versatility to play at any position between right-back and right-attacking winger in the flank. Furthermore, he can also play narrower as an inverted right-back or inside forward to influence the game from the central.

Liverpool star Conor Bradley has enjoyed a steep rise in his reputation since establishing himself as a key member of his club and country.

Coaches must closely monitor Bradley’s injuries to prevent further setbacks in his development that he faced in the past. The Northern Ireland international made 23 appearances for Liverpool in all competitions last season, contributing a goal and six assists.

Speaking to Belfast Telegraph, Spencer praised Bradley and hyped him to become one of the best players in the world. He said:

“Conor Bradley is going to go on to be one of the best players in the world. The season he has had, he’s been absolutely unbelievable and to be able to play alongside him is so good. It’s such a relief for me playing at centre back and just having him beside me. He’s always there and supporting and he is able to get out of difficult situations, score goals and make things happen in attack. It’s great to be playing with him. For me against Andorra it was a bit more natural playing on the right hand side especially with Conor. He is such a top player and makes the job look very easy.”

Spencer’s comment highlights the good defensive cover that Bradley provides on the right side while influencing in attack. The 20-year-old scored two goals for Northern Ireland against Andorra in the last friendly game for his national team.

New head coach Arne Slot has inherited a fantastic squad from Klopp with players like Bradley available to him. The Northern Irishmen can develop further under Slot and establish himself as the first-choice right-back, allowing positive tactical changes.

Liverpool vice-captain Trent Alexander-Arnold is gradually transitioning into the midfield and Bradley’s rise allows him a chance for full transition. Slot’s expertise in developing young talent could be just what Bradley needs to reach his full potential in football.
