After the cruising 3-0 victory at Old Trafford, Mohamed Salah hinted about his exit. As he is in the last few months of this contract which offers him £350,000 per week, the negotiations haven’t been initiated yet. His comments was followed by a dozen media speculations and club links. After two weeks of him bringing his contract time to everyone’s attention, his agent has finally taken time to address the situation.
Mo Salah’s agent states all rumours are nothing but rumours
Salah has started the Premier League season with six-goal contributions in three games. The Egyptian also marked his 100th appearance for the country last week. Amid all the speculation and links, his agent Ramy Abbas addressed a few things via X, saying:
“FYI – all those ‘journalists’ who imply having ‘inside information’ about Mohamed’s future are making claims/posts based on absolutely nothing. Just click-w***ing. ‘Sources close to Mohamed’ don’t exist. This post is really just to tell you that they don’t know.”
This clearly rules out all the possibilities we have been marking on Salah’s future. It also states that no contact has been made from any of the clubs for now. So all the Paris Saint Germain and Juventus links can be termed bogus. Not only that, all the large money offers from Saudi are also being nullified by Abbas.

There is no Salah has been the main man at Anfield since his arrival in 2017. Currently, the right-winger is third on the all-time Liverpool goal scorers with 214 goals in 352 appearances. Many speculate considering the Egyptian’s age, it is very less likely he’ll be offered an extension on the same terms. This could be one of the reasons his stay talks are being prolonged. However, the fans have made it clear in the past they would want to see more of their Talisman at Merseyside.
Liverpool face Nottingham Forest at Anfield as the squad return from their international duty. It’s just not Salah, but a few other seasoned players have also been clueless about their future. Kelleher also made his desire to leave the club clear. Moreover, a few youngsters who have been struggling for a long time could also look for a new home. But as Salah’s agent hinted nothing is solid till you hear from us, we can only be in wonderland about the future of these players.
