The headline clash marks the first-ever meeting between Arne Slot and Pep Guardiola, set to take place at Anfield on Sunday, December 1. The match will kick off at 4pm and will be broadcast live on Sky Sports in the UK.

Both teams have maintained a steady start to their season. Liverpool are a point behind table-toppers City who sit at the top with 13 points.

Following this reschedule, Liverpool face a challenging run of fixtures. Between November 2 and December 1, the Reds will play four Premier League matches, with predicting Slot’s team to lose points at least in one of the games.

The standout fixture is a massive Premier League showdown just days after Real Madrid’s visit to Anfield in the Champions League, setting up a blockbuster week for Arne Slot and his squad.

The only match in November not chosen for broadcast is Brighton’s visit on November 2, which will stick to the traditional 3pm kickoff.

Meanwhile, Aston Villa’s clash has been moved to a late Saturday kickoff on November 9, marking Liverpool’s final game before the last international break of 2024.

Immediately after the international break, the Reds will travel to Southampton for a Sunday afternoon kickoff on November 24, with the match scheduled for 2pm.

This demanding run of fixtures is part of a packed schedule for Liverpool, as they navigate multiple competitions with weekend and midweek games. The upside for the Reds is that only one of these matches will be away from home, offering some relief for the team.
