According to talkSport, Liverpool’s target Mario Gotze could be hijacked midway by Italian champions Juventus. The player is widely expected to leave the German giants Bayern Munich in the summer and so far Liverpool has been heavily linked with the player.
The player who scored the match-winning goal in the World Cup 2014 has found it difficult to cement his place in Bayern Munich and is looking for more first team football. Liverpool were the favorites to sign the player given that the player has a history with Jurgen Klopp the current Reds manager.
Now Tuttosport, has a report that says that Juventus are also planning to bid for the player and see him as a potential replacement for Paul Pogba who could leave Turin in the summer. Apparently a bid can be expected in the coming weeks and Mario Gotze is topping that list at Juventus. Liverpool may need to act sooner on the deal than they had expected.
