Lucas Alario joined River Plate only in the 2015 January window and has already attracted interest from Liverpool. In the football world it is a very quick progress indeed.
The 23-year-old was part of the team that won Copa Libertadores and also scored a goal in the Club World Cup semi final. Now having just joined River Plate two years ago, the club is unwilling to let him leave easily.
Liverpool are reported to have been watching him for some time and their scouts have been spotted watching Alario on several occasions. Liverpool are looking to rebuild their team in order to be able to challenge for major titles next season and looking to strengthen in every possible department in order to do so. It’s been reported that Jurgen Klopp will be handed a large transfer kitty and definitely there is a chance that players such as Alario will play at Anfield next season.
