Liverpool star Fabinho snapped wearing protective boot on left ankle
Liverpool midfielder Fabinho was snapped wearing a protective boot on his left ankle recently.
The 26-year-old has to be replaced in our 1-1 draw against Napoli in midweek after an accidental collision.
The Brazilian has been excellent for us since joining from Monaco and is one of the most important players in the team.
No Liverpool player can do a similar job in the midfield as Fabinho is great with tackles and interceptions.
The Brazilian has a great passing range too, and hopefully, he is not out for a while.
The picture was shared on Instagram by Porto and Portugal legend Deco, and he tagged Anfield too.
Fabinho was set to miss the Brighton game at the weekend due to a suspension, and there is no confirmation of how long he will be out for (h/t BBC).
Liverpool need their stars to stay fit
Injuries are part of the game and can take place without warning, however, we need to keep most of our players fit for a tough run of games.
We play almost every three days in the next two months and haven’t seen Joel Matip either. The Cameroon defender hasn’t played since the 1-1 draw at Old Trafford and is a big miss for the side.
The Reds play Everton in midweek after the Brighton game but both of them are at home.
