Stan Collymore shares four-man transfer shortlist for Liverpool which includes Jack Grealish and Ansu Fati
Liverpool have a four-man transfer shortlist, which includes Jack Grealish, to replace their misfiring front three. That is according to former Reds player, Stan Collymore. (h/t Mirror)
Jurgen Klopp’s men are in an unprecedented slump. The Reds have lost 6 home league games in a row and we have no goals at Anfield from open play in 2021.
Mohamed Salah has 24 goals in all competitions this year but is without a goal in his last 4 league games. And as for Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino, they went without a league goal in the month of February and have not scored in March so far.
That is certainly a cause for concern. And Collymore states that there are ‘whispers’ at Anfield that the Reds’ attacking trident want to leave the club.
Time for a change?
If that is the case and Liverpool cash in on them, Collymore has shared a 4-man transfer shortlist in order to replace the void left behind by them.
“LFC front 3 have won the lot and may fancy Madrid, Bayern or Juve for a new challenge. So don’t discount an overhaul being at least being whispered at LFC. Haaland, Grealish, Fati ( Barca completely skint) Boadu (couple of Dutch coaches i know love this kid) all on a list.”
The list mentions stellar names such as Borussia Dortmund hitman Erling Haaland, and Barcelona wonderkid Ansu Fati. The other two players are Aston Villa superstar Jack Grealish, and Eredivisie prodigy Myron Boadu.
These are names that are certainly capable of replacing the elite front three that Liverpool possess. But offloading three of them in one go might destabilize the attack and backfire.
