Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is full of praise for Curtis Jones
Jurgen Klopp couldn’t hide his delight with Curtis Jones’ exceptional performance as the young academy graduate donned the captain’s armband for Liverpool.

“It was a top performance, I have to say, for the first time for him in a strange position, he did really. I liked it a lot.”
“He is in a good moment so he could probably play any position at the moment. We will try to use him as often as possible in his natural position.”

With Stefan Bajcetic’s playing time under careful management and Joe Gomez’s fitness not yet at full capacity, as is the case with Trent Alexander-Arnold, Klopp needed a versatile solution. Curtis Jones fit the bill perfectly on the night.
